Cork City Ghost Tours, is an interactive, fun and spooky way to learn about Cork City and all its folklore, tall tales and haunting. Its aim to surprise and delight! It will take you and a group of friends on a walking tour of the beautiful city, showing you the most haunted, scary and intriguing places that are home to stories from the past. It will offer you a fun activity you can do with friends/family while in the city. This destination is the 2nd most voted TripAdvisor tour for Cork.

It is a one hour walking tour that starts and finishes in front of the Cork Opera House (Emmett Pl, Centre, Cork).
​
Adult tickets are €15.00, while a student/OAP/child are €12.00. Dates and times will have to be booked to see availability. Dates and times of the tours around Halloween time starts from The 26th to the 30th at 6:30pm then 31st at 4:30pm. If you have a group of over 15 or more, you can book a date and time.

FULL INTERVIEW WITH DAMIAN PUNCH
Hayley: So, introduce yourself and how did the ghost tours start?
​
Damian: So, my name is Damian. I started the ghost tour in 2015, myself and a friend of mine/a colleague. We decided to do it. We were doing these other tours for people and we loved that and it ended. Then we decided to make a tour and then launched into doing this. So, wrote it, researched it, did the route, got going, got the costumes and got it up and going.

Hayley: So, what type of stories do you tell on the tours?
​
Damian: It's a lot of kinda horrible, ghastly kinda histories of Cork. A lot of that. Then, ghost stories mixed in but also a lot of comedy because we're playing with people. Its different/ a little bit different every night depending on who arrives. So, it comes out a little bit differently depending on who is there because, as you're watching us, were watching you and you know we play/ we love to play. We keep it alive you know.

Hayley: Where can people finding bookings for the tours?
​
Damian: You can actually book on the website; corkghosttour.ie. I mean we're up on Trip Adviser and Google Maps and you'll see a world of fantastic reviews. We're out there, you can Google us and we'll pop if you put in Cork Ghost Tour. We'll pop some place you know?

Hayley: Do you have any social medias?
​
Damian: Yeah, I'm on Cork Ghost Tour on Facebook as well and on Instagram. Mainly on Facebook, I put stuff on that and share pictures of the groups and whatever craic is going on.
​
Hayley: Do you have anything else to add?
​
Damian: (Exhale) jeppers, I don't know what else to say. Suppose yeah, the Ghost Tours, the way we do it isn't what people expect. Its/we surprise them. I suppose with our humor and the theatrics of it and the energy of it, because it is a high energy hour and fifth teen minutes, you know? Which is a lot of fun, exciting and we keep it exciting for ourselves. Its the only way. If your gonna do this for like/you know/you need to keep it exciting for yourself. So thats it really yeah!
